at Maddox Creek Unit Warranty These condominium units have been constructed in accordance with accepted home building practices. They have been inspected by Nord Northwest Corporation's trained professionals and, where required, by the building department of the area in which it is situated. Nord Northwest Corporation is experienced in home construction. All of our projects are constructed according to plan in a competent, workman-like manner and meet customary construction standards. Nord Northwest Corporation warrants each home to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for one year from date of closing and, except for normal wear and tear and defects arising from Buyer's negligence and abuse, Nord Northwest Corporation agrees to remedy at no cost to the Buyer such defects which appear during said period of time in the following systems: heating, plumbing, drainage, electrical and structural (including roof). Appliances, floor coverings and fixtures are governed by their respective manufacturers' warranties and Nord Northwest Corporation makes no warranty to these items, except as to problems arising from incorrect installation. It shall be the Buyer's responsibility to notify Nord Northwest Corporation in writing of any concerns regarding warranties. Nord Northwest Corporation warrants a home to the original Buyer only. The warranty may not be transferred or conveyed, and will cease automatically upon conveyance of title. The Buyer will, of course, be expected to maintain the home in a prudent manner and no warranty is given to items requiring routine replacement such as light bulbs, filters and the like.
